Assessment & Diagnosis

At Podcare, the assessment and diagnosis process is based on scientifically validated methods and state-of-the-art equipment. Our goal is to provide accurate, safe, and fully personalized care for every patient.

Assessment Process

Medical History Review

We collect detailed information regarding overall health, medical history, current symptoms, and potential risk factors (such as diabetes, vascular, or neurological conditions).

Clinical Examination

A thorough examination of the skin, nails, foot structure, and joint mobility is performed.
We identify any signs of redness, calluses, deformities, inflammation, or fungal/bacterial infections.

Biomechanical Analysis

Using specialized tools and, when required, plantar pressure analysis (static and dynamic gait assessment), we evaluate pressure distribution across the feet during standing and movement.

Vascular & Neurological Assessment

Blood circulation and nerve function in the lower limbs are evaluated through pulse palpation and sensory testing.

Why Accurate Diagnosis Matters

The final diagnosis is based on a combination of clinical examination and specialized measurements.
This allows us to detect pathological conditions, functional disorders, or risk factors at an early stage—before they develop into more serious or permanent problems.

Based on the findings, a personalized management and treatment plan is created according to each patient’s needs.

Our Philosophy

Our priority is:

Comprehensive and detailed assessment
Responsible, evidence-based approach
Clear and thorough patient education, so you feel safe and fully informed about your foot health

Trust the specialists. Book your appointment at Podcare and receive an accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.
